Machel in car crash





























SOCA star Machel Montano was involved in a vehicular accident yesterday while on his way to court to attend a matter in which he is accused of assaulting four people outside the Zen nightclub in Port of Spain in 2007.

Montano said he was in the front passenger seat of his black Range Rover vehicle which was being driven by his personal driver, identified only as Marvin, along Abercromby Street, Port of Spain when it was involved in a collision with a taxi.
One side of the Range Rover was damaged during the accident, Montano said.
He said he had no choice but to leave his driver behind and make his way to the courthouse by foot in order to avoid being late.

On the one hand, a punishing economic climate has caused automakers to do away with incentives such as cash back and rock-bottom financing that drove crowds into showrooms for the past few years. On the other, buyers are showing that if a car is on their personal wish list, they’re willing to pay extra; in some cases, thousands of dollars extra.
