NBC is selling for The Crossing, the pilot picked up for a period in the West by Peter Horton. In addition, the network has officially green light adaptation of the classic British Prime Suspect, which was postponed last season. The Crossing (formerly reconstruction) was originally developed FX, where it was created in 2009. The drama, written by St. Elsewhere co-creator Joshua Brand, a city located in Missouri during the period of post-civil war reconstruction and centers Jason, a Civil War soldier crossing the country and settles in a city complex, where he was welcomed as his savior - of Like it or not. Fire and Horton are exec producing, with LIVE Horton set. Should also produce management are Aaron Kaplan, who has been associated with the project since the beginning.

Already in 2009, Horton said that the character invented the idea of discussing the reconstruction of the reality of today: the economic crisis and the Middle East, including war-torn Iraq. "We thought it a good way to tell the story would be through an allegory of the West," said Horton. "How do you heal after (the war), how to find humanity again?" This is the second episode of the NBC drama pilot ordered this season with 1960 Playboy.
