Pennsylvania doctor held without bail for alleged murders of 7 babies

(CNN) - The head of a Philadelphia abortion clinic will remain behind bars after a judge today denied bail when he appeared on eight counts of murder - one for the death of a patient and seven for the killing of seven babies viable.

A district court judge in Pennsylvania held without bond until at least two other suspects involved in illegal fishing and in many cases, criminal actions in the practice of Dr. Gustavo Gosnell of Philadelphia, a statement from the Prosecutor's office Seth Williams said Philadelphia District.
